Having completed an Environmental Management Degree in 2004, I embarked on a career in waste:

• Operating several Anaerobic Digestion Energy from Waste sites;

• Working with Yorkshire Water in the operation and optimisation of the many Waste Water Treatment Plants throughout Yorkshire;

•  The commisioning and operation of a Flash Pyrolysis Energy from Waste site;

• Providing environmental and H&S support for a used cooking oil (UCO)  & food waste facility, which included acid esterification (partial conversion of UCO to biodiesel).

As a consultant I have provided TCM and Environmental support to many different waste sectors, including hazardous waste, food waste, skip hire, aggregates, UCO, end-of-life vehicles (ELV), and scrap metal recovery.  Registering as a CIWM WAMITAB assessor in 2021, I have since assisted many candidates in achieving their WAMITAB qualifications.
